Christmas Eve at Daughters with one of her sons and his daughter and their roommate and her daughters. Also oldest grandson called from El Paso and we all got to talk with him. Then I went over to sons in-laws for Christmas day. So it was good this year. For New Years I always stay home. Right now I am watching the Nashville New Years eve show on CBS.

I asked my husband about about where his father's family was from and he said he father was born in Ohio so it is quite possible to be related. My husband didn't have a relationship with his father so I don't know anything about that part of his family except his father's name was Alan and he lived in Florida and had been in the military. When my husband's parents divorced his mom moved them to Maine.
I didn't know anyone involved in the shooting in Lewiston but it was an awful thing. A sad sad day for Maine for sure.
And lastly, your Sunday nights sound very much like mine! A little bit of swapping some TV and then early to bed! It's the life! Happy Christmas and Happy Swapping!

Response: In 2006 I said "I'll go teach English overseas for a year for something to do". Now I have a husband, I've lived in 3 Asian countries. I have a teaching degree and I'm kind of in it for a little longer than a year!

Response: I'm from the east coast - Moncton, NB. In the last 14 years I've been in: Uijeongbu, Seoul near Hyehwa, Siheung-si, then back to Canada for 2 years, Indonesia, Maryland, Shanghai, and now Ulsan for just over a year!
