Comment: What fun! Firstly I love envelopes made out of wall paper (contact paper? wrapping paper? I'm never sure what it is but I love it). Then the cute note tag - love the color and pattern of that. Then the paper bag itself - I never thought much about going to Vegas but lately think I want to someday. LOL. Love-love-love the Cirque du Soleil ticket and confirmation letter! Stuff like that is right up my alley - I guess it ties into playing make-believe as a kid & I never grew up. :) Write to me anytime you'd like! I'll try to get a letter off to you next week (I'm teaching myself how to knit - I'm sure I'll need a break from cussing and disbelieving what I'm doing). ;)

Comment: Terribly belated thanks (that sounds odd!) for your self-mailer and the excellent little cut-out pics which will be put to good use eventually. I'm the same as you on knitting, although I've never even finished a scarf, much less a baby jumper/sweater. I'm even with you on scrapbooking paper ;) as I still check them out at the shops sometimes and very occasinally buy a few. But there are so few I like all-up that it's easier to write that I disike it all rather than receive heaps that I dislike, as ungracious as that sounds. Curious to know what you mean by *paste paper*. Handmade paper with a glue/paste-based 'size'?

Lately I have been very much drawn to bookbinding and am reading books about the various structures. I even intend to actually make some of them. LOL I also do not scrapbook, although I will pillage their stores when I get the chance. In addition to craft books, craft blogs, archaeology blogs,and science blogs, I am currently reading Conn Iggulden"s Emperor series about Julius Caesar. If you like history, these are interesting books. Thanks, again, for a great swap.

I really savored the envie, then brewed some fresh coffee before carefully cutting off the edge, because I knew it would be joyous inside too. The PCs you sent were a great mix, I wish all Quick 5s were such good varieties. My fave is the Wanderlust one. I got a box of those at my Borders in the clearance bin, but this pooch one wasn't in it. They must have multiple sets, yay! Comment: You've got cool envelopes in the USA! Took me quite a while to tear the super strong thing open. I imagine that they reduce chances of mail getting damaged a lot. Anyway, I'd like to say thank you for the cards! I haven't had a chance to read them all yet, because the first one I took a look at already inspired me so much I had to think about that idea for a while. They should help a lot during NaNoWriMo, and also afterwards and I'm now sure that I won't run out of ideas anymore for a long time. Thank you very much! Ilona

Response: I print onto a sheet of cardstock, then cut it to size. Funny that the PO put the PC in an envelope; I've mailed that type of PC before.

Comment: What a fun package to receive. Did you wrap it in wallpaper? I am already using the return address labels you made for me. The coke can postcard will be fun to send and see if it makes it through the USPS system. What tape did you use around the edge of the can/postcard? I have just started making my own postcards so the supplies come in handy. Thanks for everything!
Response: Yes, that's wallpaper (thrifted, natch). I've sent the coke cans through the USPS. The edges of the can are wrapped in electrical tape (didn't want to cut any postal worker). Glad you liked the package.

I was in an honors class for 7th grade geography, and my teacher gave me back my first paper with my name circled and marked "spelled wrong"! Fortunately, he was also willing to listen, so I explained and he ultimately became one of those teachers who was also a friend. But that memory has stayed with me, so I do totally understand about your certificate!

Response: So glad you liked my inchies. After I got the idea, it was a lot of fun. I like making envelopes out of glossy magazine pages. If you make a clear template out of quilter's plastic (sold at Wal-Mart among other places) you can see where to cut for the maximum effect.
