Response: Thanks! I've always called it Assemblage Art. It's so much fun but I have to stop saving all the random bits I find. I'm running out of space. I use E6000 glue. strong enough to stick a small child to the wall!

Comment: Hi Carlee, YES!!! Your ATC is amazing! How did you use the salt? Do you have to treat the background or do you just watercolor with salt? You card looks 3-D the way it twists under the light!
Response: So glad you like it! I get my watercolor paper pretty saturated and add my watercolor paints in splotches and swirls. And while it’s still wet sprinkle with salt. Coarse ground is better than fine table salt. Let it dry then brush the salt off! It makes such cool looking effects.

Response: gelli printing is a technique. you can buy a gelli plate to use or make your own using glycerin and gelatin. It is a lot of fun making your own prints. I started out with a homemade plate and once I saw that I liked it and would use it I went and bought a 8"x10" gelli plate.

I like the brown one better for its composition and call to revolution, but I really like the cheerful splattered background on "coffee break".
