Comment: Thanks for the nice note and cards. Congratulations to your son! My grandson, Erik Glass, is a volunteer in the department in our small town. ๐
Comment: I will have to look into the books you read. I like mysteries. I especially thank you for the bookish post cards, I love them. A fitting book sticker! The paper pieces are gorgeous~ thanks again.
Comment: Thank you for the swap. I like the way you put all your books in the notebook and rated them with stars. We read many of the same books (Cornwell, Fluke) but there were some authors I hadn't tried yet. Always fun.
Comment: LIsa --I was disapointed by the fat book with cartoons and those odd jigsaw puzzles (new to me --i like Jigsaw puzzles because they make me think ) To me a Diary means some information about daily doings -- this did not eve have your name in it. You put a lot of time and paste into it and it cost a bunch to send, so I am not going to rate a 1, I don't think that would be fair. But please think before you join other "diary" swaps --even junk journals.
Comment: It must be a blessing to spend time with your one year old grandson. Appreciate him while he is young. They grow up way too fast. Time just flies by. My son Billy just celebrated his 29th birthday. I can't believe that he will be 30 next year which also means that I am old.
Comment: Lisa, thank you for the lovely notecard & beautiful Nepal postcard! I too love audiobooks, especially now that my eyesight has worsened. I truly hope you win the Kindle Paperwhite. While not nearly as impressive, last year I won a board game for my library's reading program -- I would've preferred a Kindle! ๐
Comment: Hi Lisa! Thank you for the fun mail! I love a good corny joke and yours rocked! Love the extra goodies as well! All the best! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Hi again! Thanks for the note and Nepal postcard. Your library's summer reading program sounds really interesting. It sounds like you had a busy but good weekend! I hope you win that Kindle!!
Comment: Thanks for the notecard and the extra postcard, I love it! Your summer plans sound fun and peaceful, I hope you enjoy your time with grandson and family. My grandmother was from North Carolina (near Morganton, so out in the mountains) and I remember how hot it was when we would visit for family reunions every year. We would usually do a pool party at my uncle's house so North Carolina summers always meant swimming to me!
Comment: Thanks Lisa for very nice note and the Japan PC. I hope you're still enjoying reading as yet. I love to read as well. But I'm not good at doing challenges. Happy Summer!
Comment: Cool bookstore card. I'm developing a new found interest and appreciation for Agatha Christie. It's interesting that she was a bit of a mystery herself as well. Thanks so much!
Comment: Hi Lisa. Thank you for the card and postcard. My first two dogs were rescued German Shorthaired Pointers so very appropriate card. My library also has a summer reading program but Iโve never checked it out. Maybe I will next year!
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful notebook filled with the questions. So pretty. And thank you also for the extra notebook. I love little notebooks. I enjoyed reading your answers and learning more about you. We have some things in common. Enjoy your 4th of July.
Comment: Thanks for sharing about your weekend. Congrats on the announcement of the new grandchild. Thanks for the blank pc. I used to participate in Soldiers Angels. Haven't heard about operationpaperback.
Comment: Thank you for the pretty notecard and postcard! My summer is going well, a bit too busy! The last couple of weeks, had family visit from WY and Florida.
Comment: Love the colorful card! Iโm glad to hear you are having a wonderful summer so far. Iโm hoping to catch a library book sale! Thank you for the Colosseum and dog pc. Thanks for sharing about your summer plans and book likes too.
Comment: I love that you have a Nintendo Switch! Loved hearing about all the 1 year old action and thank you for the extra postcard :)
Also, I got a very cool 'Research Triangle' postmark from your local office. So lovely!
Comment: Thank you for the note and postcards Lisa! I hope your grandson enjoys summer story times at the library and good luck to your son in the firefighter academy!
Comment: Hi Lisa! Love the great pc and thank you for the nice message! Things are going great here - our Grandson was born yesterday and we are so excited! We will see him in person in July and he has kissable cheeks, so he will get some Yaya kisses for sure! LOL! All the best! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you so much for all the wonderful book suggestions and Frankenstein postcard, Lisa! I joined a cozy mystery book club in 2020, and I've been hooked on cozy reads ever since. ๐
Comment: Thank you for the interesting postcard of Oxford! You had a couple of words for this swap that I didn't think of and that's neat! Have a great weekend!
Comment: Great postcard and I'm slowly working my way through Agatha Christie's cannon. I've only read "The ABC Murders" & "A Murder is Announced" from your list. I need to read #6 in the Miss Marple series so 'At Bertram's Hotel' (#11) is still a ways to go for me. Thanks for joining the swap!! xxMuggleMom
Comment: Great answers and we all must have the same answer for Disney as that is the only character in XYZ!! lol. You used separate cards. Xtra points for you!!
Comment: Thank you very much! I always wanted to read something by Patricia Cornwell. The book you recommended, Postmortem, her first one, was read by my mother while she was pregnant with me. โบ๏ธ
(She read a lot of British Crime novels back then - and from one of them (I donโt know which one ๐ฅฒ) she found the name she gave me ๐)
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely postcard and for the huuuuge list of characters! :D Thank you for joining my swap, and have a wonderful day! <3
Comment: I love the cute postcard you sent! Your dog is almost 10 times my dog Jedi's size! Jedi has met one very well-trained German Shepard, and he wasn't intimidated, which surprised me! Thanks for joining the swap!
Comment: Thank you for the Culzwan Castle postcard. Looks like a very cool place to visit. Thanks for your list of actresses on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. I have been to Hollywood many times and have seen the stars on the sidewalks.
Comment: Thank you for the cool castle postcard and book recommendations (both yes and no, lol). Cozy mysteries with yummy recipes sounds like something I could get into. :) Have you read all the Hannah Swensen Mystery books?
Comment: I was born in Korea and this pc is pretty cool. I was adopted from Seoul and brought to stayed and been here my whole life. Never been back thanks for the pc happy Easter. He is risen! Alleluia!
Comment: Thank you for the greetings from North Carolina!! I did have a good week, thank you for asking. Hope you have a lovely day and happy swapping.
Comment: Interesting choice! I think he's talked about a lot in certain genres or my certain authors, but I guess it depends on what you read! Thanks for the PC!
Comment: Thank you so much for the card and recommendation. I love Agatha Christie and enjoy rereading her books, which I would not do with most mysteries. She provides a great reading comfort zone for me. Thank you again!
Comment: Thanks for your note and the lovely PC.
I chose Pluto s my favorite, though I must admit that it was a sympathy vote. Imagine dutifully orbiting around all alone in the cold and dark for centuries and then suddenly being told you aren't a planet any more.
Comment: My partner, Lisa, gave me an amazing gift of ephemera and cards to pass on- and now my family is all huddled around pulling things out and comparing and discussing. More than I ever imagined I would receive for this swap. Lisa, thank you so much for your generosity.
Comment: Great postcard - I love that postcard collection as much you I see! I never knew there were books about the Murder She Wrote tv series, whodathunk?!LOL Hope February is sweet with good books for you, Thanks for joining the swap. xxMuggleMom
Comment: Thanks so much for the illustrated beach PC! Itโs not really warm here, but above 30 so Iโll take it compared to the negative temps a week back or so!
Comment: Hi! Thank you for the share about the book that exceeded your expectations - I love when that happens! All the best! Hugs, Happy Reading, and Swapping! ;)
Comment: Wow and double wow. Thank you for your list of books and all the extra goodies. I loved the way you listed the books you read. I enjoy cozy mysteries as well

Oo Denim Days festival sounds FUN! I am googling it and reading about it!! I wish we had something fun like that here!!
Happy SUMMER!
Gabi
Comment: Thank you for the very lovely postcard, Lisa. I love these round postage stamps! Regarding the quote: until now i refused to see Jaws because i am afraid. Well, i'm 47 now, maybe i should give it a try and it motivates me to find the scene with the quote you sent me :-)
Comment: Thanks for the nice PC and your book. I wonder if the story is placed in Maine. There are people who would probably kill over a lobster roll (or blueberry pie) contest, if they thought it would help them win.
Comment: Thanks for the lovely PC. I don't think I listed birding in my profile but I do enjoy watching them at the feeders outside the window by my computer.
Comment: hi Lisa > thank you for the museum postcard! it is important to remember history, so we do not make the same mistakes ... of course, new different mistakes can continue to
occur!! enjoy the vacation season :)

Comment: Thanks for the interesting PC.
After he died, we found that my father-in-law had a lot of post WWII Japan occupation era carvings packed away. We don't know how he came by them as he was stationed on mainland US the entire duration of his service.
Comment: Great postcard, thanks! I also love mysteries and if we were in the same marathon, we could hang out cuz I can't run! I wish you the best on getting to England AND Singapore!
Comment: Lisa, thank you for the postcard. I also have a lot of those little birds in my yard. Have you ever been to New Bern? I've been to the Charlotte Motor Speedway and went around the track in the passenger seat. It was fun. Shirley
Comment: Thank you for the PC. It looks like a drawing on chalkboard. Those are always fun to look at and I am amazed at people who can make it look so neat without making mistakes! <3
Comment: I love this card! I like the welcome sign, and the footprints walking around the border. I've lived in Minnesota my whole life, so I can relate. Though I have a granddaughter in North Carolina. Thanks!
Comment: Great PC! One of my nephews was at Camp Lejeune a few years ago and I commend everyone who serves. I get to support vets on a daily basis with my work. Please thank your son for his service from me! Thank you!

Designerรขโฌโขs Tip: Mix different petal shapes to form interesting flowers.
Instructions:
Card front: Cut 5รยฝรขโฌยx11รขโฌย black cardstock, score at 5รยฝรขโฌย and fold to form a 5รยฝรขโฌย square card. Place the fold on the left. Glue a 5รยผรขโฌย square gold sparkles holographic paper centered. Mat a 4รยพรขโฌย ivory cardstock square on black cardstock with 1/8รขโฌย borders. Glue centered.
Use the largest scalloped oval cutting die to cut a scalloped oval from black cardstock. Use the largest doily cutting die to cut a doily from ivory cardstock, and set the inner oval aside for later. Trim the doily center, following the dots along the inside for a smooth inner oval window. Glue the doily centered on the scalloped oval mat, and glue to the card front.
Use the Flower #3 cutting die to cut two sets of pink cardstock petals, two sets of pink hearts holographic petals, and two sets of ivory cardstock petals. Use the Flower #1 cutting die to cut two sets of gold sparkle holographic petals. Use the pine sprigs cutting die to cut four sets from green cardstock. Use the flower stem cutting die to cut three sets of stems from green cardstock. Use the Paper Tool Kit to shape the petals and leaves.
Assemble three flowers as shown, starting with the largest petal first and layering smaller ones on top. Mix up the patterns. Attach each petal at the top with a Zotรขโยข so the flowers keep their shape. Foam tape to the card with a doublelayer of foam tape (so they keep their shape). Glue a stem beneath each flower. Cut the pine sprigs apart, and place around the flowers.
Place the gold รขโฌลSincere Sympathyรขโฌย Dazzlesรขโยข on a 2รยฝรขโฌยx1รขโฌย black cardstock. Mat on pink holographic paper with 1/16รขโฌย borders. Foam tape 2 1/8รขโฌย from the top.
Card inside: Use the small scalloped oval cutting die to cut a scalloped edges around the doily inner oval from Step 2. Mat on black cardstock, and then pink hearts holographic paper with 1/16รขโฌย borders for each. Place the gold รขโฌลKeeping you in my Heartรขโฌย Dazzlesรขโยข on the oval. Glue a pine sprig on the left.

Comment: Lisa, thank you for the postcard. It is a small world as I have found people living here from my home town in MA which has about 3000 people. Only lived her almost 6 years and I do not know where Erwin is. Shirley
Comment: Hi Lisa! Thanks so much for the great pc!! I love it! Summer has been good and is going way too fast! How about you? Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)

Comment: Thank you for this card with the cute penguins. You know, it'll be here before you know it. It's sooooo hot here. Supposed to get cooler, but it will still be hot. Take care.
Comment: Thank you Iisa for the so cute Penguins Christmas card you sent to me for the swap! Yes, its hot in August in Florida, I'm thinking "cool thoughts." Seeing the winter scenes in the Christmas greetings helps, thanks again! Happy Summer to you!
Comment: Love the Ft. Bragg PC! I'm an Army brat, but that's one place I've never been. Hope your son likes it there, and please send my thanks for his service!
Comment: Your sailboat card was very simple, but very appealing. I cant hand draw so I am impressed. Thanks for the extra cute small note cards. I will use them in a junk journal.
Comment: I've totally had things wrinkle like that before. It sucks, but sometimes you can flatten them back out if you weight them down under a book or something. Thanks!
Comment: I loved the suprises in your package! This is so fun! I am extremely glad I went surfing the net for swaps. Thank you for such a beautiful created package.
Comment: Hi Lisa, a hello from Singapore! Thank you for your beautiful little package. I love the stickers that you choose, very nice. Thank you so much for it!
Comment: Wow! How did you get the backs so clean? I am very grateful for what you sent. I mostly use stamps to add to collages, etc. and do not collect stamps for the sake of collecting, per say, but the stamps you sent are so beautiful. Thank you.
Comment: Thank you for the stamps. None of them my father collects, but they are very nice so I will make someone else happy with them, I will pass them on.
Comment: Thank you for all the FBs. I can't wait to send them on their journey home. I recognized some names that have passed my way before. Many thanks for a speedy delivery. Happy swapping.
