Comment: I wish I could get in the habit of being positive and exercising. I have the desire but apparently not enough to actually act on it. Although, if my son makes one more comment about my "big belly" I'm either going to start working on myself or send him to boarding school.

Comment: Thank you for the wonderful package! When I put a BoS together I'll add the information you provided. The fabric will be so much fun to play with and already I have plans for it. Never done machine quilting but this information may help. My sewing machine is too small to machine quilt anything larger than a place mat, hence why I do the quilting by hand. When I get a larger machine I'll definitely take a closer look at the instructions you sent me; I love the intricate designs machine quilting is able to do.

It seems like something my five year old could easily participate in with little confusion on his part. Your village makes me so nostalgic, it has been a long time since we've had any kind of tradition. My husband doesn't have any family traditions and being raised in a Catholic home, a nativity scene doesn't fit in our current household. I'm still trying to seek out the little things we can do annually for my son and daughter to carry through their lives. My favorite is the sistrum- I have a few drums and rattles and things that I use often but I did not have one of these and I had wanted one! This one sounds lovely! The magickal books look interesting... Love your handmade items and recycled paper things... The velvet and silk cloths are very pretty! The wooden moon is pretty too. Everything is great... I'm about half way done and am enjoying it and learning a lot about birding. Anyway, it's a beautiful card. And that's great that you are familiar with Mounds View since your sons are nearby. My husband has been the Mayor of Mounds View the last 8 years. Now, I hope the book and flag were the only things in there because my mailman is a peach and decided to slam 4 packages into my tiny mailbox and this one of yours was completely ripped open with the book hanging out. It was the worst I have seen a mailman do, that I'm actually taking the package to the PO and complaining. I'm glad the flag was between the pages!

I love so many of the fabric patterns on it, especially the ones with leaves. I have a perfect table in my kitchen that I have draped it over. I cannot believe the detail in it- it's just gorgeous. The Native tribe (now extinct) has a sacred place called Raven Rock whose outline looks like one. The eye is a huge hole in the rock and Ravens nest there. It is quite amazing

Comment: Wow! What an incredible swap! I love your take on the flag; it is so creative. I'm feeling inclined to wear it as a belt haha. And the book is such a fun addition to the flag, I'm really intrigued and will certainly read it. I also love the crystal as I don't have that one in my collection yet. And the tea mat is so lovely- I use your other one as a toaster cover. It looks really pretty just laying over the top of my chrome toaster. I also really enjoyed reading your letter, especially the personal information you revealed. I hope you take no offense to this, but you kind of remind me of my mother, as she has had some similar experiences you mentioned and has also received a lot of judgment from my family. But she is a very resilient woman for all she has pushed through. Thank you for everything you sent. :)

The post office had to put it in a plastic bag due to damage to the paper, but nothing on the book was damaged. :) And it's so colourful! It was great swapping with you.

The prayer flag is beautiful and I love the stitching and the story behind it, And I cannot thank you enough for the incredible books and those breathtaking crystals! Never could I have imagined that you would share with me such wonderful gifts, You are far too kind and thoughtful to send me such things. The singing amethyst crystal is SO beautiful. I kept staring into it and seeing an entire galaxy. I am cleansing the crystals with the residual energy of the recent full moon, and proudly displaying them on my new crystal shelf. They will definitely be used for healing. The other crystals are fantastic as well and I can't wait to read those books. Thank you thank you thank you for such a blessed package. It would be true to say it is one of the best packages I have ever received swapping. Those crystals really found a place in my heart.

It is so special to me because I can see it is authentic and from your clan/family and not some recipe you googled for the swap. I loved how you incorporated an actual ritual for me to do while making this recipe, and the fact that you included the red ribbon (which is also gorgeous) just made me feel so special. Also, I have never before received anything handmade that was stitched/sewn together and I am SO in love with the little tea place-mat you made me! Everything about it is so me, and so perfect! The colors and pattern are adorable; you are truly gifted. And the bag that holds the grains mix is beautiful. I cannot stop saying the words "beautiful" in my thanks to you, because that is what this truly was. Most of mine hang in the SE corner of my living room from plants I have at the windows. Response: I make the best of it by creating my own world. I love my yard and do not care what other neighbors do. If they complain about my nature-choices, I will trim bushes or whatever to appease them as a regular clean-up, but go about doing what I like. When I leave here, the new owner would have to decide if they love it (how could they not?) or if they want to rip it up and go to cement and gravel.

Response: good question. I made 4 groups for seasonal art wall hangings and switched them out when the season changed. Its a way to gather small things rather than to toss them. It takes a lt to make something look right or good or cute in that small a space. It was a challenge and now I am glad to send them along.

I was part of the 2person management team for a 40 building 305 apartment complex on a college campus. I learned that dandelions were very important in the 80s and we were a dandelion free complex because we ( myself and many Asian residents) took advantage. The plus side was our grounds were beautiful! I hadn't heard about the knots but I was a Girl Scout leader for 30 years nod knots were quite a source of energy holding. I never thought of actually binding energy. I am glad to learn this. What a special crystal. It will take a special place to one that I was given from a dig for me. Just beautiful!and great rods! You know the candle will get used! Lovely shell,h I immediately felt energy within! The flat stone is amazing! I could feel how special it is and a delightful addition to my energy stones. I love the way you wrapped the rosemary: orange and cloth! The envelope smelled wonderful when I opened it! I love the design too. Thank you for such a thoughtful and useful swap package. Fabulous job! I just saw the beaded bag on the other side of the table! Again thank you! I have to open it and check out the herbs. I found the tea on the floor. This is a very special swap.
