I had to do some googling to understand. It's not just funny that he brought you montage postcards. Which seem to be less desired by collectors. But, also the Luberon sounds like a beautiful territory of lots of pretty landscapes and he chose postcards of close up images of stone buildings. Comment: Hi!!! I "received" your mail today on Monday the 4th of March. Thanks a lot!! So happy to come home from HUGE stationery shopping from a swap I joined today to a surprise, when I *thought* that I have no mail for Monday :'( (Because nothing was delivered to me today before I left home to mail out swaps.) "Received" is in quotation marks because I found it inside my home instead of the mailbox after I returned home tonight. And it seems that somehow the apartment people sorted your mail (with two other mailings) as my parents' mail, who live in another place nearby... instead of sorting it to my place... even though the address is correctly my place's. So maybe your mail could have actually arrived last Thursday or Friday, but my parents were on a trip. I see this the sorting mistake as a blessing in disguise in various ways, and thanks to the delay and mistakes, I get to come home tonight from a No Mail Day (or do I mean "Receiving Nothing Day" instead...? XD) to having three surprise mail after having done so much stationery shopping ^_^ Oh, and February 8th to February 14th was the Lunar New Year holidays where the post office was closed, so maybe that may have delayed the delivery of your mail. Or maybe it didn't, but your postmark details say "12-02-24 . PR FRANCE" and "21530A-01 LA POSTE." So it may have arrived in Taiwan during the holidays or it may not have and instead arrived on or after the 15th. Who knows. Anyway, soooo cool you mentioned "Receiving Nothing" in your letter, and makes it easier for me to dig out the swap where I sent you nothing. I was going to e-mail you photos of how your mail arrived, because your mail was actually teared open a bit before it left France. But La Poste (your country's postal system) stored your mail in a La Poste plastic bag, so it was sooo cool. So after I submit this rating, I will e-mail you photos of what I mean. I find the "broken envelope" a blessing as well, because I get to experience something more unusual and rare like this, and cherish the experience :D (I'm pretty sure the "broken envelope" thing delayed your mail, because the postmark is ON the envelope, but the whole thing is stored inside the La Posted plastic bag... so it seems after their machines cancelled your stamp, they had to take your envelope to put it inside a plastic bag, BEFORE they sent this to Taiwan. So maybe that also explains some extra delays. Probably your envelope stayed in France much longer than we both thought, because of this alone.) As for your questions, that's a good question about my favorite flower because... I'm not sure. LOL. I don't really recognize flowers by names, and also it depends on how the flowers are drawn (in terms of artwork or photography style). And not really the flower. Something like this. Usually. And OMG, just realized the teabag you enclosed is "Chelsea Garden" and this reminds me of the children's book "Chelsea's Seeds" that I wanted to write years ago but put on hiatus. (Somehow I find meaning in your tea, in terms of timing and in terms of how these events unfolded in terms of receiving your mail on a special day like this. I mean, I could have received your mail earlier, but it was delayed twice and all happen to "arrive" today. Maybe I can find inspiration for my book from your tea and your mail ^_^) Annnd, I'll go send you the e-mail as soon as I can now so you can see what I mean about the "broken envelope" thing. I also enjoy French art, especially the impressionists; the literature, the history, the pastries, bread and cheese! Then when I finally got to visit France -oh, my! Walking through Paris -the architecture, the museums, the stylish clothes, the food! Then the beauty and charm of Provence. And i love the Tour de France also! Here in America I especially love California, the Pacific coast, New York City, San Francisco, and our amazing national parks. Have you travelled here in the USA? If so what have you enjoyed?

Very graphic about violence, but still somehow full of life. This year’s best has been Adeline Dieudonne’s the real life, also so amazing! Written from a point of view of a child in a domestic violent home. The misogony of the father is very cleverly and perceptively written. Good books really make life better, right?

Comment: Hey... ya we pay taxes on just about everything here too. But with the cost of gas being high, I would love to not have to pay for gas. It is about $1.50 a litre here so about $6 to $7 a gallon I guess.
