Response: Nadolig llawen a Blwyddyn Newydd dda to you also! Thanks for swapping!
Response: Hi June! I did not receive a letter - I received a book you wrote! I've been sneaking off to read it instead of doing my housework whenever my husband was not looking. It starts out wonderfully and has hooked me totally. Thank you for sending! and thank you for the heart!
Response: That would be great! I've got another envelope coming to you shortly - for the shaker card swap! This is fun, ,isn't it?
Response: Thank you! I was experimenting with modge podge because some of my die cuts were coming loose when I had them just glued. Glad it looked ok!
Response: It was probably the recommendation for the Richest Man in Babylon by George Clason. I think that book is the best for educating people about the basics of money management. "A part of all you earn is yours to keep."
Response: I have a whole book of bookish postcards called "The snooty bookshop" so I was glad to have a chance to share one of them. Thank you for the heart! (I thought it was funny too!)
Response: Wow, and that is for a postcard that went only 60 miles. It was a puzzle postcard with pictures of Oregon. How disappointing. A new card is on its way.
Response: My pleasure! It was fun using the stamp and coming up with a picture. I seldom get around to using stamps that I get from a magazine, yet that is why I bought the magazine! I was glad to have a chance to use it. I am glad you liked it!
Response: Florida in February! Awesome! I'll be in Ft. Lauderdale in March on my way to a cruise of the Carribean. Hopefully we will both get good weather. Thanks for the heart - and have a merry Christmas!
Response: I am glad you enjoyed it! Merry Christmas!
Response: I love them too! My house has many rugs and wall hangings of our local lighthouses. We live just 7 miles south of the Heceta head lighthouse which is one of the most beautiful and most photographed in the world.
Response: It is raining on the Oregon coast right now so hopefully some of it will make it down and inland to you on your trip. Take care!
Response: Thank you June. Your words help.
Response: Hmmm.... I am surprised that you did not like the variety of papers that I sent.since your profile stated that you liked scrapbooking, decorating planners and everything cats. The listing of items on the swap posting were only suggestions, not that one had to send one of everything there, but I hate to think you have this negative feeling about me so another envelope is on its way. Happy Holidays!
Response: Thanks for the heart! I'm glad you liked my list. It was a bit shorter than my usual one as the grandkids have been visiting this summer, but I did manage to read some new releases.
Response: Thank you for the heart! I'm glad you liked the list. I like some fiction, but I have found that I want to know more about what has caused the various situations or attitudes that exist today and that leads to my reading more history. (Hopefully it makes me more educated and less prejudiced.) :-) .
Response: Thanks for the heart! I sent you some links in a message.
Response: Wow! That was fast - both the receiving and your posting. Thanks for the comments - and thanks for the heart!
Response: I'm glad you enjoyed them!
Response: No problem. I'm hoping you are doing lots better now.
Response: and thank YOU for the heart!
Response: Thanks for the heart! This was an intriguing problem, how to get all the items into the ATC as if they belonged there. I managed most of it, but ran out of time and had to finish it off at my daughter's house. With more time, I would have had the soccer ball on the bench and a bell on the front of the gate.. Glad you liked it what i had done.
Response: The rain is why we have "oregon Ducks" (U of O mascot). I do love the Cricut.esp. since I do not cut well myself. If we had had kindergarten when I was young, I probably would have failed it.
Response: So I take it that Spring is not your favorite time of the year? :-) I'm glad you are in a non-flood zone - scary things, floods. Thanks for the heart! Take care- stay dry!
Response: Ib was hoping that it would be something you liked! Thanks for the heart!
Response: You are quite welcome. It was my pleasure.
Response: You're welcome! Actually the bird on the branch on the envelope I got from another swapper as was the caged bird on the front of the card. I think they are both tim Holtz dies.
Response: You're welcome! I knew the gloves would be handy as it has been cold on the coast lately so I knew it would be even colder where you are. Have a great day!
Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the heart!
Response: I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for the heart!
Response: I'm glad you noticed! It was a fun swap. Thanks for the heart!
Response: I'm glad you liked them!
Response: no trouble. I'm glad you enjoyed them! Have a wonderful and prosperous New Year!
Response: Wow! It made it there fast! Have a wonderful holiday! (Thanks for the heart!)
Response: Thank you, I appreciate that! And thanks for the heart!
Response: I'm so glad you liked them! I thought you would like the ATC holder since it was a Tim Holtz design- I'm glad i was right!
Response: I'm glad you liked them! Thanks for the heart!
Response: I don't know how that happened, : (
but I'll get some stamps in the mail to you first thing on Monday. I'm so sorry for the aggravation this must have caused you. Please accept my apology. 4/25/10 update: I'm so glad you received the envelope with the extra stamps. I'll take the oversized cards to the P.O. clerks from now on.
Response: Funny to get such a rating for the rubber bands - but i guess it does show I read your profile closely1 I've enjoyed getting to know you better too!
Response: I was hoping you would! Thanks for the heart!
Response: Oops! I think I might have just labelled the envelope, but I'm glad you figured it out and I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for the heart!
Response: I'm glad you liked them. Thanks for the heart!
Response: I'm glad you liked them. Thanks for the heart!
Response: Your welcome. The rubber stamps were by Landscapes and it was made by stamping onto glossy paper with dye inks. The technique itself is described on their website. I learned it at my local rubber stamp store, Inkspirations. I'm glad you liked it!
Response: I did send it on time so it must have gotten lost. Actually, rather than send you a second late christmas card - maybe I'll send you a New Years or Valentine's Day card if the rating doesn't change by Christmas Day. Don't let the delay impair your holiday mood - I did send you timely holiday wishes and hopes for a prosperous new year!
Response: I'm glad the second one made it! Whew! I hope you have a wonderful, happy, and healthy New Year!
Response: Oh good, you found it! I'm so glad! It was fun putting together a door, and then adding a hidden pocket inside with flowers. I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for the heart!
Response: I'm with you - those christmas card swaps are fun, aren't they? I look forward to hearing from you!
Response: I'm glad you enjoyed what I sent!
Response: Yes! I love both the energy I get from a great storm and the cuddling we do when it is cold outside. Thanks so much for the heart!
Response: Thank you for you kind words. I really enjoy the swaps you coordinate - especially since they give me a good reason to write - and to hear from - you! It looks like we'll be corresponding again later this next month. Until then, have a wonderful holiday season.
Response: Well, I must admit I didn't follow the directions either - I read your profile! (How else was I to find out what you would like?) Anyway, I'm glad I chose right and that you liked what i sent! Happy swapping!
Response: Your welcome! The quote page was the ONE thing I knew you would like!
Response: Great! I'm so glad it arrived and that you liked everything!
Response: Thanks! As of yesterday, we now get 4 eggs a day - very exciting!
Response: The heart is some kins of ceramic. I don't knw what type of clay or whatever it is. My sister makes them for her business "Grief Watch." or for her grief counseling clients or groups. I was able to snatch a few during a visit a few years ago . I'm glad you enjoyed the envelope.
Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
Response: Thanks for the kind words. I'm so glad yu liked what I sent. Thanks for the heart!
Response: I'm so sorry! My handwriting is atrocious I know. I tried to make it more clear than I usually write, but obviously i failed. I guess I'll have to stick to "typed letters and journals". I'm glad you liked the magazine pictures and the rubber stamped items I included. Hopefully they made up for some of the illegible writings.
Response: Yes. I thought you might prefer it to an ordinary penny.
Response: It must have gotten lost in the mail somehow. A new piece of "happy mail" full of paper goodies was put in the mail on 4/2/09 - and then a postcard sent on 8/7/09 so there must be something wrong with mail service between here and there. Sorry Jenna. I did my best.. Starwatcher
Response: I'm glad you liked it!
Response: I'm glad you liked them! Maybe we can swap some other images - I have a ton of rubber stamps and this way I feel I am getting my value out of them - plus I love to see what other people are collecting! Hapy swapping!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it!
Response: You're quite welcome! I know what you mean about Yosemite - I was quite pleased yesterday to see that the P.O. has issued a new stamp with the Yosemite Valley on it. It made me happy to look at it too - and I bought LOTS of the stamps to use on my swap-bot happy mail!
Response: I fondly remember going to Lake Erie when I lived in PA as a child. Great place!
Response: I'mglad you liked them! The folder is the one made on Tim Holtz' 1st DVD. I had to watch it several times to get it right -then I had to make a bunch so I could rmember how to do it! Glad you liked them.
Response: I'm glad you liked it! I really can't take credit for the 'envelope on a postcard' idea. I had received one like it in January from bonitacoons and adopted it for many of my own postcards when i find people of similar interests in images or punchies. Thanks for the heart! Happy stamping!
Response: Thank you for your kind words! Drawing is difficult but learnable. I think if I keep observing as closely as I've learned to doing this swap, the mind-body connection will help me continue to improve my skills. That is my hope! Thanks again for swapping - and thanks for the heart!
Response: Your welcome! I usually don't put them in an envelope, but saw that you requested an envelope on your profile. (I usually don't read profiles for a postcard swap, but I'm glad I did for this one! ) Happy swapping!
Response: Thanks for the compliment! Yes, I used the watercolor technique - the first one on the Altered Journey CD. I'm really glad you liked it!
Response: Yes, losing a beloved pet is a life lesson that is difficult to endure. Thank heaven the wound heals over time to allow us to love another one. Thanks for participating in this swap - it helped me to give tribute to my beloved Sasha.
Response: I'm so glad you liked it!
Response: You are so welcome! Thanks for the heart!
Response: I'm glad you liked the package! The version of a star book I make is basically made from 5 gift cards glued together with ribbon across the back and front and tied at the side. Decorated front and back covers are attached over the ribbon. Very fun to make. I saw Beth Cotes make one on the Carol Duval Show years ago but made my first one this past month. Thanks for the heart!
Response: Ihe others had all received theirs in late December -early January. I had no idea you had not received yours. I'll be sending another batch off to you tomorrow - though you might check with your post office. It seems strange that you have had so many non-received items as shown on your profile. Anyway, you'll be getting a second batch from me soon so you'll be able to take my name off that list!
Response: Wow! I'll send a new one when I get home. Thanks for the heart!
Response: I'm glad you liked them! The variety in the type of stuff we swap is what I like most about Swap-bot. We all have different stuff - and it is fun to share our stashes! Happy swapping!
Response: Awesome! I've printed out my 2 favorite soup recipes and addressed the envelope. It will be on its way to you tomorrow. (Thanks for the heart!)
Response: Thank you so much for your kind words! Happy swapping!
Response: I'm glad they both arrived! Merry Christmas!
Response: I'm glad you liked the package - especially the book -13 Days of Christmas. I just finished reading it again. It really is a delightful story. Have a wonderful holiday season!
Response: Thanks for the kind words! I related to those images as well - one is the inner me and one is the outer me - and they both dance!
Response: I'm glad you liked the book! I'm hoping you like the other things as well. I tried to match up to your profile as close as I could...
Response: You are right-I really am lucky! The list was actually just from May - Sept 2007 because we had attended a wedding at June Lake, CA and saw our children in central CA at the same time, then went to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland with our daughter , then did a loop tour from our house down the Oregon coast and up the central valley. You see a lot of places when you travel by truck-travel trailer! (and have the time to dawdle..)I'm glad you enjoyed the list!
Response: Your welcome! I would have sent more if the postage hadn't gone up like it had.
Response: I'm so glad you received/liked the package! Eureka is still one of my favorite shows so if you like sci-fi, watching the DVD will surely get you hooked in a hurry. It will be interesting to see if the other box ever shows up - let me know if it does, will you? I've never had one lost before and makes me wonder if it is in some warehouse or in a broken down truck somewhere. It could make for an interesting story....
Response: I'm so glad you liked it! My husband is always chastizing me for picking up various things from the ground when we walk so I was glad to have a 'real' reason to do so because of this swap - but actually the agates are the only ones he encourages me to truly look for! Again, thanks for the heart!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it!
Response: Thanks for your kind note -I'm glad you enjoyed the card!
Response: I thought you would get a kick out if it! As I said, it was really fun to make! The hardest part was finding a miniature slurpee container - which I found on a 7-11 site. It would make a fun swap card too - if you made color copies of it. Anyway, am glad you enjoyed it. I need to go now to make one for me for the Screen name ATC swap! Sandy/Starwatcher
Response: My pleasure! I'm glad you enjoyed the package. It was fun doing the writing - almost like being in school again! The best to you.
Response: Thanks for the heart - it's my first! Starwatcher
