Comment: You can do this! I would recommend a bullet journal style journal to help you meet that goal. I Googled articles to see what the fuss was about BuJo style journaling. I started one and like it so far. And you could post a public swap to find a round-robin partner (or review all the profiles of people in the WW group to see if anyone is interested in round-robin writing).

Response: If it was the Discovery of Witches (I can't remember which book I recommended this time around - brain fart) series it was FANTASTIC and I can't wait to read the next book she has coming out with one of the characters that was in the book. Same world, different series. The series has everything in it, alchemy, genetics, genealogy, time travel, magic, vampires, daemons, witches, etc.

Response: The woman who wrote the A Discovery of Witches is a historian which makes her books all that much better because everything is history historically accurate. I think you'll enjoy it.

Response: The tummy is getting better by the day. Not sure if I told you about the hernia repair (I suffer from CRS - Can't Remember Shit) but that's mostly healed. Still didn't get coffee creamer. They don't have a smaller size and I can't see wasting money on a large one that will end up thrown away. If you ever want a pen pal, look me up! :)

Comment: Thank you for this postcard. It is always sad when a place you like to shop at closes. Here on Santorini and the place I lived in Athens do not have interesting mail boxes. :( Here there is a small room owned by the community. It has small blue boxes all in one big unit. In Athens it was an odd gold shade of boxes on a wall in the enty way. People forced open the boxes all the time and stole the stuff inside the envelopes and left them on top of the mail boxes. I hated it there.

I have a Greek penpal who travels to Crete at least once a year - she has sent me many a postcard from Crete, and it is indeed beautiful. Hope the reviews are going well and the maintenance guy stops being a proper jerk :)

Comment: Love that you had a corner crease in your cardboard - I've been looking at some too-small chunks and wondering if I could span a corner - maybe now I'll try it! We've been enjoying a few cool days in August. Nice break from the usual oppressively hot and humid. My cherry tomatoes are just starting to ripen. My first attempt ever at squash (delicata) is turning out few squash than I'd expect, but lots of blossoms so maybe more to come. I have mixed feelings about that cuz I'm not a big squash fan (the seedlings were "gifted" to me)!

My hubby is a walking mail man so I get to hear all the stories, the folks that are kind and the ones that are not very.... It is a tough job and not for everyone, that is for sure!! I so could not do it, as I don't like being hot, cold, or wet! LOL! On the plus side, he can eat like a horse and not gain a pound, that still is not an incentive for me!! LOL! Comment: Received your Hunter Riley pc. We were camping in Yosemite NP when a swarm of ladybugs came through--it was a fantastic sight, but they were also the biting kind. Kids were in bathing suits and they were being bitten--had to get in the nearby river to avoid contact. I couldn't believe they bite!

Comment: Thank you for the playlist, I find YouTube playlists very useful for music swaps so it's great to see someone else use them, too. I would have loved some explanations or stories of when each song played in your head, they would give a better picture of how your mental jukebox works. I can really understand the Mannheim Steamroller and the Gummi Bear song is an obvious choice, haha! Old well known melodies like the Auld Lang Syne are very likely to play in ones head all of a sudden, I think :) And I loved that Alanis' album when I was a teen... :D

But everyone they brought to foster was sick in form or another. It is so sad to see so many animals to be left to their own defenses and abandoned. Response: He was great in the car for a while, then we stopped taking him in the car and now he's a mewling mess just like the others. At least he's not like Jack who ..... well you can guess every time he gets in the car. It's rather stinky.

I LOVE stamp head swaps and your ballerina was a HOOT!!! Also loved the Winnie the Pooh packaging. I may have to copy that idea. Thanks for a lovely swap.
Response: I was half tempted to keep the ballerina for myself. You can get the flashcards at the dollar store for a dollar. Gotta love a cheap way to keep things from moving around. :)

Response: You certainly wouldn't want to see our place right now, we are currently expecting 8-18 inches of snow in the next 24 hours. So much for a snow free Thanksgiving. :) But we will have some wonderful smells coming from my house. Turkey, potatoes, stuffing, peas, gravy, deviled eggs, cranberry desert, and I'm sure I'll find more. It's great here in spring and summer though.

I'm ok with PCs and letters from cat owners, but something like a stuffed animal or blanket with cat fur on it would probably set my allergies off. I've been able to pet a few cats lately without reacting, so perhaps I'm getting better? My lab gets along with my shih-tzu mix really well -- the lab's kind of an old man, so the shih-tzu kind of bullies and dotes over him in turn. They look a bit odd together, but they get along really well. Thanks for the question and the nice PC! EDIT: OH! I'm sorry -- I misunderstood your question, too! I have seen labxshih-tzu mixes; they look kind of like terriers with fur like a lab. ...I'll go edit my profile so that I don't confuse others lol

Comment: Such a cute PC -- the stickers (or are they a rub on design?) make it even cuter! I agree with your sentiment about how Cardboard PCs are a bit like a peek into others' lives. I love seeing all the different Chunks I get and what people have to say about them~

Comment: Hi Tami, I file my postcards in pretty shoe boxes. I look at them abd dream of travel to distant places instead of watching TV. Thank you for the clever postcard. I buy the shoe boxes at Michael's when they are on sale for $2.
