Comment: I was contacted by you on 7/14/22 stating you would be a few days late sending swap. Swap is marked as being sent 7/20/22. It is now 8/6/22 - I Have Not Received Swap and it has now been 3 weeks since you contacted me. I attempted to contact you on 8/2/22 and 8/4/22 by messaging you. Both messages are unread, and I have not heard from you. It is now 8/8/22 and my messages to you are still unread, and no swap has been received. Again, as I stated in my message to you - I am very sorry your husband is having issues. I can sympathize because I am having my own serious issues, with constant pain and not being able to sleep. However, I am still mailing my swaps on time.
Therefore, I must rate you a "1" for this swap.

Comment: Love the Maine pc. It is probably 65 degrees in that picture and they are sweating. In the summer we hit 85 degrees and are dying. The temperature swing is very large. In winter lows can be single digit. Today's high was somewhere in the 40's and it is April :)

I like to receive postcards from places I've never heard of so i can research and learn about them. There's a few in here like that. And thank you for the stickers. I looked it up and found out I have one that my mother gave me years ago that I have precious letter in on my bookshelf. Now I know what it's called 💕🤩 PS, just a sidenote, there was no postmark on my card so I don't know where it's from. No big deal.

They're fabulous! And I'm extra happy that you sent me a beach one! And the one that you used for the note is perfect, I've got friends in Stuart!
My town got 6" of rain from Ida and I lost power for about half a day but nothing compares to the damage that they got down south.

Potter illustrated biography and a vintage Tales of Peter Rabbit just this past week, so I am "over the moon" over the postcard. Comment: I'm sad to rate this swap a 3. It requirement Was for a hundred items and making sure the partner hasn't signed any of them. The envelope included a half of that with an item that I signed. I'm happy to amend the rating if the missing items are sent. / Edit: Unfortunately the second envelope never arrived in my mailbox, nor did a notice to pick it up directly at the post office - when an envelope exceeds certain dimensions, they ask you to get it yourself - so it was returned to sender. $14 is a lot to pay for postage so I don't expect it to be resent. I do appreciate the effort to make amends, so I'm changing the rating to 5, I didn't get it clearly due to the mix-up at the post office. Still, I don't think you should join a swap if you don't have enough items to cover the requirements in the first place. Or at least please inform your partner beforehand that the swap will come in two parts.
Response: I received a 3 when I sent only 50 of the 'send 100 bags'. 50 was all that I had. When notified that I would get a 3, I created another 50 bags and sent them on.
Those new bags have been returned to me although I used the same address as I first used. I will not be sending them back because of the cost. An additional $14 is just too much - $14 for first package, $14 for the second and it would have to be another $14 (total of $42 - too much). I have notified my partner but not heard back from her. Of course, she does not have to change the rating; I can live with that even though I get kicked out of swaps because of the 3.

Comment: Hey there Holly! Thank you very much, for the Diamond Head lighthouse PC! I love it! Esp. Since it tells what year it was constructed ( 1899) and it's still holding up very well. Like you, we did nothing special for the 4th of July. We did see fireworks though. We can see them right from our house. As the fair grounds are only 3 miles away. We live atop a mountain & can see everything in town. But the fireworks were so beautiful this year & not one dud, ha! BTW, I just have to say this, my oldest daughter's name is Holly too & spelled the same way. Her middle name is Lynn.
Response: My middle name is Ann. When I was little and done something Mom didn't like, she called me HOLLY ANN! I knew I was in trouble.

Comment: Oh so cool, a lighthouse in Crescent City CA! Hubby and me have stayed in that city for a weekend get away but it has been years. Two years ago I stayed in a really cool house (Airbnb) with family in Yachats Oregon for my granddaughters 7th birthday. It was right on the ocean, a large meadow was the only barrier between us and the raging ocean! Many signs along the roadside that read "Tsunami Warning...." I didn't sleep but a few winks because it was that intense! The house is called 'House at Dragon's Cove" Love the ocean from afar! Lol Thanks for the cool postcard!

Response: HEB is a grocery store started n Texas. There are national grocery store chains in Texas, but this one is home grown. They have fresh produce, good meats, and a good selection of other products. We love our HEB!

Response: I was there for a conference. Visiting the Biosphere was super interesting. And back then it was open to the public. But that was in the late 90's.

Comment: Thank you for the interesting old sweater postcard. Love the texture look of it. Yes, even though our town is called Bonney Lake, the lake we're named after is Lake Bonney. There are several other lakes in the area, too. Debra Jane Lake, Rhodes Lake and Lake Tapps. Lake Tapps is the biggest. That is funny that there are no rocks or an island in Rock Island. It sounds like a lovely place though! :) Thanks again!

Response: The others were sent. Funny you did not get #1. I certainly mailed it first! For the cards my partner sent me, I got 2, 3, and 4 one day, 5 the next day and today I got 1. Post office is strange. Let me know if you don't get the rest of mine.
