My aunt lives there and she said in her card to me that she was finally settled in after being evacuated because of a fire. None of the rest of the family knew of this. Thanks for any info. Comment: I love the ATC you sent, as well as the extras! Unfortunately, it arrived in a USPS envelope - it got caught in something and severely damaged one end of the envelope. The good thing is that the ATC only has two little spots that got caught, and it came out okay. Thanks for making such a lovely one!

Response: Yes the ATC is embossed. Tricks:have a good moist ink pad. I hold my card at the corner ends while using heat gun. The heat gun gets very Hot.

Response: You are correct. Looked on the internet and buffalo is not a woodland animal. Sorry but I love buffalo. Who has a stamp of a buffalo? Me. Saw a lot of buffalos at the wildlife reserves in Oklahoma and South Dakota.

It is interesting to think about how many soldiers have been through Neosho, my grandpa was also here for training during the Korean War. I also wish she would have remembered the address, many of the houses here are well preserved, especially the very old victorian style homes. I'm sure much has changed, but a lot has also been preserved as well!

I lived in Oregon and used to pass through and by Bakersfield going up the grapevine to visit my family in LA and San Diego. Always felt like I was almost there when we got to Bakersfield. ha ha

I haven't quite figured out the fortune telling fish though, it keeps saying "dead one".
