Comment: Thank you for all the great fun stuff! I loved it all! By the way, you need to check your mail before you mail it. The envelope was heavy and thick. It required 85 cents to mail not just a 55 cent stamp. So it had 30 cents postage due. Also you did not have my whole address. Luckily I received it.

Response: Glad they both arrived. I think it is very easy for post cards to get caught somewhere like in a bag or between something else. I've even had them returned to me because of mailing address.Thanks for the heart.

FL"s "Winter" could be warm like summer for a few days, then cold for a few days. Last week 2 nights down to 33F! The coming week to warm up again but cold at night 60-70/40-50'sF. Wow, so sorry to hear the cold snap reached all the way to the Bahamas! Didn't know that could happen in the Islands, though that was a cold winter US! Putting this PC up on display in my apt. Response: I too did not expect it to be cold there. While it was nothing like NY it was still chilly. I was expecting much hotter temps more conducive to swimming and sun bathing.

Comment: Looks like a nice trout pond, but I agree - too cold for me. Ice fishing in a lovely ice house is okay, but not standing in freezing water.
....a good ice house has warm coffee, great heat, a satelite dish, and wifi, and is ideally situated on a good ice road near the local ice-house store so you don't have to head back to 'land' any time soon. Cheers

Our Rockies, west of Denver had as much as 6 inches of snow above 10,000 feet just a few days ago--the leaf peepers will be out soon and I will be among them!

Comment: This is a beautiful post card, thank you so much. I got really lucky in the flood.. my house was safe but the street I live on and the next one over did flood- about 4ft of water, which is still better than alot of people made out. How was the flood where you are?
Response: We did not have damage. I just took rt 206 and you could see where the rain gorged out the land. You could also see where the water level had reched on rt 17.

Out here in the western part, we definitely don't have that many trees and probably not quite that hilly. And those trees are gorgeous. Again, they don't turn those colors out here. The Yuma men - their tribe lived in southwestern Arizona...and the card is produced by the Arizona Historical Society, which is right here in my hometown of Tucson. It's a fantastic place, a great museum, and one of my close friends is actually the head librarian there! Thanks so much!

She is waiting on several books to get here (2 required summer reading, 1 pleasure). Math packet and 20 hrs of volunteer work for her social studies course and school starts back August 6th or so. Not much of a summer.

Response: I live in upstate NY where there is not much traffic. The drive was great, lots of time with my daughter. We did 9 states in six days< I saw all my kids and grand children, We made stops often and checked out many rest stops. It was a once in a life time trip.
