Comment: Hi, I didn't receive anything, and the system says you didn't send anything. Also I contacted the swap coordinator about it and she had to angel this swap for me. Of course, feel free to contact me about this after you return or something, but I still pretty much have to give you a 1 at least for now. ~Kiyasu
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful card. I love it. It was postmarked on 7 Dec. 2023 and arrived in Ohio on 2 January. What a long trip! I do appreciate it. Happy New Year!
Comment: Wow, what cool stuff! Thank you!! I love it that you sent me paint chips, lol, and that catstickerclub sticker is amazing. I am going to be traveling over the next couple of months, but we should totally do a private swap sometime. Hope you have a great autumn!
Comment: Thank you Quinn for the nice note and extra stickers! I sure wish I could see your cowgirl purse with rhinestones, sounds so adorable. Happy Swapping
Comment: Sheryl Lee Ralph sang "The Mighty Quinn" in a cool movie with Denzel Washington - loved the song. I love Bob Dylan - will see if I can google it to hear it. Love your name!
Comment: Hi Quinn, thank you so much for the awesome zine! I also used to watch Mr.Rogers Neighbourhood as a small child. Seriously one of the best shows from when I was little. I have great memories of watching the show and loved all the puppet characters - especially King Friday ☺️ I’m excited to add your special zine to my little collection - take care
Comment: Yayyy your resend arrived! Very beautiful statues and I'm loving it. Do you know where it might be in today? I couldn't find anything on the internet. Thanks for the many many stamps!
Comment: Thanks for a wonderful letter. I only have one typewriter but I do love the sound of typing. Hopefully you will be able to get yours repaired one day.
Comment: 10/17/22. Cant believe it took the mail almost a month for it to get here. Love the woodpeckers!! 9/17/22. Today Heard back. Waiting for a resend 9/10/22: Sorry to do this. On july 3 i sent a message stating i never received. Asking if u could resend. I double checked just now and i never heard anything back. If I receive/hear from you im glad to work this out. Thanks
Comment: Sorry for taking so long! I've been working on commissions and lost track of days and time. I didn't really do anything to prepare for autumn because I was sick with covid19 for most of September (husband brought it home from work). But I will be doing something for Spooky Season now that most of the commissions are finished. Yay!
Comment: Thanks for the postcard...such a cute image on the front. I hope you had a great vacation. I always buy postcards when I'm out of town because I just can't find them in my area.
Comment: thank you for the nice summer scene. We have lots of those little libraries all over the neighb here. Never thought to look in them since I don't read books for fun. 3/10
Comment: love, love the butterfly card. Your drawing is cute. Thank you for sending me pictures of Smokey. It reminds me so much of my Smokey who crossed the bridge a few years ago. He was found in a basin at work and grew up big...main coon.
Comment: Wow. I really enjoyed reading your reactions -- and would any month, if you're sending them out anyway! also I'm really into findagrave as well...
Comment: Hello Quinn, I got goosebumps from the poems you sent me and a feeling of warmth reading your letter and seeing the photo.... Great cat, great swap. A big special thank for the bookplates! ❤❤❤
Comment: Thank you very much for your postcard of the Grand Salon in a french castle - I like to visit castles and see the palatial rooms :-) Thank you very much for sharing.
Comment: Frasier! You knocked it out the park. Your postcard of my favorite celebrity sit-com now graces my desk. I look at it all the time. You're a Smithie too! Now how nice is that! Morris House here! Best wishes to you, Quinn!
Comment: I actually grew up in Carson City! What a small world. :) I love living in VC for the most part, but honestly I want to move somewhere with less tourists, haha!
Comment: Love the sticker for your username and swap! Also, thank you for this gorgeous postcard! I'm going to tip it in my journal to grace the pages :D
Comment: Hey Quinn! Great swap! I particularly love the card. I’m going to sign up for your FB page. I’m ramping down on swaps right now. I got behind and got a bit overwhelmed! Then I ramped up and went wayyyy overboard as is my way. So now I’m going to wrap up my Easter commitments then take a break from Swap-bot. But I’d be interested in staying in touch, especially with post cards and less pressured deadlines! :)
Comment: So sorry that I can't give you a more personalized thank you! The ink faded really bad in the mail and I can't read your quote :( Is that a color sample postcard? LOL I love it. I'd love to paint my bedroom in that color Pantone 5405
Comment: Hi Quinn! I'm glad to have you as a partner again. Thank you for the Madison Ave pc. Amazing how those were once the 'tall' buildings. Take care!
Comment: Aloha and thank you for the vintage styled PC for International Women's Day. I'm so happy it came on the first day of Women's History month in the US.xxMuggleMom
Comment: OMG I love the postcard! =)
I laughed so hard at the pig slicing itself! I worked at a restaurant and there was this wooden pig holding a sign we would write specials on. So it was super funny when a special was a pork chop or something like that. WE called the pig Gabe. Was so funny when Gabe would be advertising himself as a special. Thanks for the PC!
Comment: Thank you so much for the card. I really love the Orca on it, he looks so majestic. I didn't know that there are Orcas in Seattle.
I also love the stamps you used, it's always great to see different ones than the Forever Stamps. :-)
Comment: Hello, thank you for the postcard!! While I agree with you that it’s not very interesting, I do like the illustration (maybe I’m biased because yellow is my favourite colour). I just think that it would’ve been better suited for a smaller postcard size, as it looks very empty on such a large size. Since you said that you liked the other works by this illustrator I’ll be sure to check them out!!
Comment: Hi! The swap name wasn't written on the outside of the card so I opened it to look inside briefly just to get the swap name, then put the card right back so I can open it on Christmas! Thank you for the happy mail and I can't wait to open it properly! Merry Christmas!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely card and the cool postcards! Seattle has always been one of my favorite cities. Hope you and your family have a blessed Christmas season!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely card! I love Washington State, especially the area around the Olympic Peninsula. I've always wanted to visit the Charles Schultz Museum too. It came close to being destroyed in a fire 2 years ago, but thankfully it didn't!
Comment: It was really nice to read your letter! I'm not a wiccan but I'm interested in the topic and also love reading about samhain so, it was really nice to read about your thoughts and feelings about Halloween/samhain and your little rituals.
Comment: This is a fun card, but it's extra special now that USPS printed a stamp cancellation in the corner where the kitty cat sits. Now it looks like he's a kitty that gives power!
Comment: Thank you for sharing your happy songs! :-) I have to say that it sometimes reminded me of another band. I think you could like them. It's similar music as they might be giants and the lyrics are funny/absurd like shonen knife: Lemon Demon - If you don't know them, try knife fight, I've got some falling to do and ultimate showdown of ultimate destiny.
Comment: Thank you for the Lewis Carroll postcard. Once I read it and saw the set up of the fingers and upside down words, I knew immediately that it was An Alice In Wonderland! I love the Zelda F. quote as well. I bet she was a firecracker back in her day? Have you seen the movie Midnight In Paris? The actor and actress that play Zelda and Scott Fitzgerald are great!
Comment: Thanks for sharing your road trip story with me, Quinn! I've never been to British Columbia but it's going on my list! I loved the miniatures on the postcard too!
Comment: Thank you so much for the art postcard! Corvallis is a beautiful place to visit. I see you are near Seattle, which I still haven't seen yet! I was going to an event in October that was cancelled, so hopefully next year. : )
Comment: It is hot here in San Jose, but cooling down. We've also had a lot of fires so it is really smoky, so it may be a good thing that you had to postpone. I love the Vader card, thanks!
Comment: Hi! Thank you for the card! Talk about a blast from the past! I still read a few LJs, but I haven't posted in years. Those were the good old days!
Comment: Thank you so very much again Quinn, for sending the PC in an Envie! Much appreciated! And, I love the weird/strange shop PC! Thank you! I would so love to visit the Ye Olde Curiosity shop. Esp. If there are Indian things there. As I'm part Shoshone Indian.
Comment: YA they have arrived mail is sooo slow because of the reduced flights due to covid-1.17th May from the US to New Zealand on the 13th June. I enjoyed reading both the poems you sent. Sylvia Plath I have not read before but will be looking for more of hers E.D. I have a couple of her books and always enjoy reading her poems. Loved the touch of tying them up with ribbon. Thanks
Comment: I don't know what I did but I I rated this along time ago, and I just noticed that I left the status at 'I do not wish to rate Quinn at this time.' I'm sorry it took so long! Anyway . . . Thank you for the Chicago postcard. I haven't been there yet, but would love to go. Actually, I'd love to go anywhere right now! LOL! I hope that you get back there someday! Stay safe!
Comment: Thank you for the awesome view of San Francisco. I would love to go there and visit. I always think about the scene from Princess Diaries where they run into a cable car lol.
Comment: Thank you for the cute Mutts postcard and nice list of things you collect. I have a camera that belonged to my grandmother and buttons that were also hers. The camera is an old Eastman Kodak and of course doesn't work but is kind of cool. Thanks for sharing!
Comment: Love the postcard! I have never been to the east coast in the fall and this card makes me want to! While wearing a sweater and drinking hot apple cider, haha. Thank you!
Comment: This card is just like my hometown area in Iowa!!!! It's is wonderful to see farm life. Some people do not know how much work it takes to be on a farm. I was a little kid when I raised lambs for their wool to sell at market. A lot of work for low pay. Great work Quinn!!
Comment: Thank you for the Fantana PC. About joining your Facebook swap group. I am sorry. But I very rarely ever on there. It's getting so I can't stand FB anymore. As there is way too much Drama on there and I do well with drama. So, I'm very sorry, But I have to pass on your invite. Thank you though for asking. I am seriously thinking of deleting facebook.
Comment: Thank you so much for the cow postcard. I appreciate you reading my profile to see what I like. (: been obsessed with cows for as long as I can remember.
Comment: Hi Quinn,
I wanted to extend my apology for having to wait so long to get a review. I am working to do better at the rating part of the swaps .
I really, really, liked both poems that you shared with me through this swap. I am still a huge Emily Dickinson fan.
Comment: Thank you Quinn for the cute Panda PC. I bet you miss your grandmother. Remembering the good things of grandparents is a wonderful thing! I only remember my grandfather who died in 1982. He was my world & looked up to him very much so. His wife my grandmother died when I was 2 yrs. old. They were my moms parents. I was 8 when my dad's dad died & 18 when his mother died. But i don't remember her well. Anyway, Please take care & be safe.
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful Washington DC postcard. I visited a few years ago myself and would love to have another trip back to see all the stuff I missed. There's so much to see. I saw the Lincoln Memorial from a distance, but I did not go inside. Maybe next time I will.
Comment: Thank you for the PC of Miniature World in Victoria! I've walked by that place before but I don't think we've ever been inside. Maybe next time we're in Victoria we'll actually go in! Enjoy the weekend and soak up the sun while it's here
Comment: I loved the card that you chose and though I seldom keep postcards sent as I don't collect them, I definitely am keeping this one. Thank you! I would have given a heart as well but I couldn't read over half of what you wrote on the card. (I'm sorry!)
Comment: Thank you for the lovely lovely postcard, postage stamps and message. That is a really neat Jane Austen quote. The postcard finally arrived, after being wandering around for two months.
Comment: Thanks for the awesome zines and the extras! I read one of your zines already and am excited to read the other! This is my first swap in this series and I just sent one page zines as that is all I've ever made (so far). This year I went to my first zine fest and was so inspired by the variety and creativity. And now I received your zines so I will have to up my zine game. Thanks for sharing and inspiring me.
Comment: Thank you so much for your letter! I could never write a novel much less write one in a month. Good luck on this and all your goals.
Hugs,
Diane
Comment: Thank you for some unique zines! I especially liked the one of different writings on buildings, etc. Did you go out and find all of those? That's such an interesting idea! And thank you for sending the rest of the swap so quickly! :)
Comment: Greetings Partner,
Thank you for your 2 zines. They are the first of their kind that I have received. I like the idea of cut up technique. I read the Zine through before I read last page to find out about this technique.
Tryout swap is exactly one of my top reasons I enjoy Swap-bot as I do. People can read the same thing and all come up with a different interpretation. I am going to send you a copy of my two Zines just for fun.
Witching you a happy Halloween.
Ellie
Comment: Thanks for the nice PC.
I think everyone should 'tell It like it is'. Half the problems in life are a result of people not just saying what they mean.
Comment: I haven't got this ATC:(
State is still "Not sent"
Thanks that you've finished this swap, but I just can't put you more than 3. The reason is not the long period, but the quality of the ATC.
Comment: I will be happy to re-rate if I receive something! April 2014: Thanks for making this swap up and for sending me an ATC. It is clever and fun!
Comment: Thanks for sharing, not just your songs but a glimpse into your life. Bipolar disorder is tough. I suffer depression and can relate to that. Btw, keep writing that autobiography cuz you never know! A cousin of mine just got published!
Comment: Hee, I'm glad I'm not the only one who listens to a single song on repeat sometimes! Oops, I forgot to put our last.fm compatibility, which is low. I look forward to finding new music from your library.
Comment: Hello Quinn! "Your musical compatibility with cyclopsrocker is VERY LOW :(
Music you have in common includes The Beatles, Amy Winehouse, David Bowie, John Lennon and Ramones."
Comment: Thank you for the letter and pictures. I have been to Seattle and loved it there. Nice to get to read about your neighborhood. Thanks for the swap.
Comment: Wow!!! Thank you so much for the amazing coffee!!! I love cats (even more than I love coffee!), so the little anecdote makes the tea that much lovelier. Thank you!
Comment: Your baby is beautiful! I just want to rub that belly and stroke those paws. He looks so peaceful there. It makes me really look forward to having a cat of my own again. I loved the extras, too, especially the one about the woodblocks. Thanks so much!
Comment: Thanks for the lovely homemade card. Received it today! I would have given you a heart for it being homemade but it was way over a month late.
Comment: I tried PMing you but you never read the message. I wanted to give you a chance to do this over. Because this was falling apart when I received it and it was not "something nice" but rather something that couldn't be described as a "postcard" I am giving you a 3. If you want to resend, I would happily change it to a 5, if it were an actual postcard.
Comment: Hello Quinn,
Sorry I have taken so long to get your rating done for this swap. However, I appreciate your patience with me. Thank you for the ATC you did for this series. You did the Jack-o-lantern. I can see that you found different pictures of Jack-o-lanterns and that is neat. I am not sure what you wrote on the background. I will add your ATC to my ATC Collection but it will be in a more specific ATC Collection called the Halloween Series. Have Fun Swapping.

Comment: I loved reading your list, it was very interesting! We have quite a few people that we like in common! :) Thanks for personalising the swap, making it look all nice, and thanks for the photos! xo
Comment: By a sheer stroke of coincidence I was at the Tate gallery tonight, buying postcards. When I got home, lo and behold! A postcard of a Dali which hangs in that same gallery. Strange and freaky. But hey it's Halloween so freaky is to expected
check out www.myrealwall.com to try and spot it soon
andy
Comment: ah, cute lil' happy face punkins!
... so totally delightful (plus the contribution
to firefighters!)!
> your card is very much appreciated.
yes,
i'd like to see more evergreens here (instead of
observing their carcasses being trucked to mills),
but it's still rewarding to see the red-orange
leafy specimens along our streets
& hope they don't turn brown too soon!
Comment: Thanks for the cute card! How do you manage with 3 dogs? We are thinking about getting a third but I imagine it's a lot of work (and a lot of fun!).
ps. dachshunds are awesome :)
Comment: Thanks, I 'd love to see this painting as you say it's quite large -- many Dalis are smallish. For a minute I thought you meant St. Petersburg, Russia but then I read the card and saw Florida. Maybe I will see it some day.
Comment: Quinn - I LOVED the multi-view card of London! I have been to every sight that is shown on the card, so it's extra special to me! Thanks so much. :)
Comment: I really love your zinalogues :-). I will be sure to pass them on, & hopefully (one day!) they will return to you, full of even more cool stuff...!
Comment: WOW, what a fabulous assortment of cards. I use so many of them on a daily basis and you sure filled up my envie with loads of them. Just perfect. Thank you so much. Hugs, Mona
Comment: Thank you for the 2 cd's - but I would have loved to read more than just 3/4 words for each songs! The swap requirement was for a few sentences long minimum. I wrote something like almost 2 A4 pages to my partners and I would have loved to know more about my own partners as well! :) Also... the CD cover has a date on it (12/4/08) and that makes me think that this is a "recycled" soundtrack cd...
Comment: I received your story today 10/3 and found it to be pretty good. I give you a heart for the ending of the story because only Samanatha knows what the new colour is. Very clever.
Comment: Hey Quinn, it was cool getting your CD. I really enjoyed all the music, and I haven't had a chance to listen to the Bob Dylan CD, but I really appreciate it. :)
Comment: I'm not sure how to rate. I'm giving you a 5 because of the extras. (the CD was nice). But i was a little bit disappointed in the way you just glued the prints onto paper, cut out in a sloppy way ... You obviously made the effort to take some nice pics, but they seemed like printed on a printer that was running out of ink ... Sorry, i'm not happy with writing this comment, but if i don't, it's not fair either.
Comment: Thank you for all the lovely things you sent! The jar was definitely larger than it was required to be and it was sent priority which cost a ton! It was late, and I had already contacted the host, so I don't feel that I can give better than a 3, but I do want to say that IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT! Thank you so much! If I could give a 3 and a heart, I would.
Comment: I received the package. The apron is cute, but it's a child's size, so I won't be able to use it!
2/20/2009 update. The pearls flaked all over my skin. I feel disappointed, because I went to a lot of trouble to find and send a very nice apron and pearls to my partner, and I received something I can't use even in fun. The apron is even too small for my 11 year old daughter! I'm going to downgrade the rating as soon as the system allows me to. I am open to having you fix things first, though.
Comment: I have tried to message you but with no answer. This will be the second time someone flaked on me. You are also my partner to send to on the Happy Journal swap. I am not sure what to do.
Comment: I have seen this book around and after reading the first two pages, I'm already hooked! Have you read this book? Your note didn't say....Thanks again Hope all is well with you!
Comment: Thanks for the lovely list of your childhood memories. I enjoyed reading it very much and i liked how you wrote it as you remembered it rather than chronologically. That's how I wrote mine too...makes it more interesting!
Comment: I appreciated getting your list, and plan to read several of the books you recommended. I am glad that you are moving out of your depression. I certainly understand, and will be sending light and positive energy in your direction.
Comment: Thanks for sending the list. Quinn. I can understanding being depressed and finding it hard to do things, so I'm not doing a 3 even though it was very late. I hope you feel better now, sometimes just forcing yourself to do things helps the depression I've "been there, done that."
Comment: Thanks! Despite the fact that you sent it late, Im still gonna give you a 5 because it did eventually get here. Thanks for being honest! And I have to say...I really like the songs you picked! :)
Comment: Thanks so much for the great book, slippers and tea. The bookmarks are great! And the extra Chocolate bar looks yummy! thanks also for the very nice fairy soap. Great swap thanks for all you did! love and peace mary
Comment: Thanks for the mix! I love so many of the bands you chose. A heart because it was jam-packed with music, the massive effort you put into this swap truely shows.
Comment: Hi neighbor! Thanks so much for the great SC postcard! I don't have that one yet. Hunker down and get ready for the storm beginning to hit our area!
Comment: thank you for the great West Virginia postcard! i do wish it would snow here in Los Angeles. i think it would freak people out! :) we're just a bit too far south for snow on the coast!
Comment: I'm running around wearing skulls. :0 )
Thank you so much for all the wonderful goodies. Love that you supported Etsy artists too. The recipe cards are brilliant.
Comment: This is amazing, If you read my profile you would not think I would know who They Might Be Giants are, but guess what, I have been to one of their concerts @ Bogarts in Cincinnati OH in the late 80's. Small world, huh. Thanks for the card.
Comment: Thanks so much for the cool tunes! Nice selection. Some I've heard, some not. New music is always welcome. Sorry about the delay in rating - my 'puter hates me. It has issues.
Comment: thank you for the Seattle postcard. i've visited the city once, but have yet to go to the top of the Space Needle. :) hopefully i'll do it one day soon!
Comment: Thanks for the postcard! Seattle is one place I haven't visited, among many! I'm from Michigan, moved to TX 3 years ago. Love the warm weather! :)
Comment: Awesome CD! I noticed you seem to like songs where the same words are repeated, but pronounced differently! Not that I mind, I liked the songs.
I found the track list really difficult to read though, your handwriting is a little confusing and they way you had it as a paragraph rather than a list made copying it down really hard!!
Comment: I love Dali's work! I was able to get to go to his museum when I lived in Florida. It was great. He has some unusual pieces but they all make sense in the big scheme of things. Thanks!
Comment: Thanks for the postcard, Seattle has a lovely skyline. As for working in the library, I can only say it is somewhat like a diabetic working in a candy shop!
Comment: Thanks for swapping! I'm looking forward to listening to what you mixed up for me! I love the postcards you sent and thanks for the nice note too. oxo Laura
Comment: Thank you so much for your list. I see quite a few books on there I have read, several more I would like to read, and even more that I hadn't thought of but would now like to read :)
Comment: Oh, Quinn, honey, I would give you DOZENS of stars if i could..thank you SO SO much for the absolutely beautiful plate and lovely little disc...I was totally not expecting something so special..I was thinking I would get maybe a special stone, or maybe some other nature-like item, (and would have been totally happy with that...)but you have outdone yourself!! thank you so much again, you are a gem..I will be displaying these special items and will think of you when I do...
lots of love to you and blessed be!
your swap pal,
Sandi (candigirl)
Comment: Thank you for all the goodies you sent me for this swap. My kids will love the skittles and nerds. I can't wait to eat the 3 Musketeers.. Thanks again.
