Response: It is heat activated foil. I don't remember did I use my heat 'pen' or just douplesized tape. Both methods work with the foil I have.

Serpent is symbol of Brigid, goddess worshipped at Imbolc. for example, it is listed here http://www.goddessandgreenman.co.uk/imbolc-candlemas (and wikipedia too plus several other sites about wiccan / pagan traditions). Response: Naalbinding is viking age way to make socks etc. Knitting came to Scandinavia pretty late and before that socks/mittens etc were made by naalbinding.
