God is outside of time and space. You can google the seven "I AM" statements of Jesus in John. My favorite one is when he was arrested and they said they were looking for Jesus of Nazareth and he said, "I am he" and they all fell to the ground (John 18:3-6). Cool moment!

I would love to go again. My daughter and family go quite often but with her husband's side of the family. I recently found a thrift store that had a paperback flower encyclopedia for $1, it's probably 1.5" thick and every page has beautiful full-color pics of flowers from all over the world. Response: Thank you. I watched a tutorial last night where this girl dips the end of a colored pencil in Vaseline. It makes the color more vibrant. You have to keep your pencils clean though as it breaks the pencil color break down. I’ll try to send you the link. ✏️

You can buy it in sheets too to make it more affordable. Let me know if you buy any and what pattern. You will fall in love with it!!! I bought my paper at Craft Warehouse.

Response: Hi there. From here all of our mail goes to Spokane. Even if I mail a letter to someone I in Kennewick, it goes to Spokane and then back here. It’s very weird for sure. And if I take it to the post office and hand it to them I think it gets a postmark from here. But if I put it in my mailbox I think it might just go straight to Spokane. Spokane is about a 3 hour drive from Kennewick. I’m curious. I’m not sure if I put your postcard in my mailbox or if I took it to the PO. I mailed it from here on the 9th. What postmark date did Spokane use? Thanks for the information.

Comment: Odd question. But did you use a fountain pen? I just started using one. Looks like mine writes. (It was my moms)

FYI...The floral tape you put around the playing cards is sticking to some of the cards and cannot be removed without damaging the cards. Comment: Thanks for the swap and the extras! That was sweet of you to add .04 stamps to the postcards, but there is no need when there's a Forever stamp on there already. The extra postage is only needed when there's a stamp that shows an amount - like .33 then it will need the additional postage to get to .40. But if it says 'forever' on it, then the increase is automatically absorbed by the Post Office, which is the charm of the forever stamps :)

Comment: Hi Alma, First and most importantly, Thank You for kind offer to be my “angel.” I’m going to keep your card and I may call on you if I need to do so. Thank You for the postcard you sent me. I like the items you chose to put on the card. Since the original owner started with an old text, your additions kept that “old” feeling. I am looking forward to finding 2-3 “old” things to add to the card. Since I wrote that last entry on my Profile, I have been in the hospital, due to a major drop in my Sodium. I was told by the doctor who took care of me, said I was at the level that at any time I could have had major seizures and/or passed away. Prior to the entry to the hospital, I had been to 2 ERs, 1 Urgent Care, and then the hospital, all in less than 5 days. Then I‘be found out why my oxygen has been dropping low during the day and I was already on oxygen at night due to big drops in my oxygen at night. My new Pulmonary doctor says I have Restrictive Lung Disease. As a result, I’m going to need to be on oxygen 24/7. I’m very sad about this, but it’s something I have no control over. As well, I have been having a Great Deal of trouble walking due to severe pain in my right knee. I saw an orthopedic doctor/surgeon and he has injected it twice. So, I have terrible problems in my knee and need a knee replacement. However, I need to be feeling better. So, we will see what life holds for me over the next few months. That is an update. Thank You for the “extras” you sent along, as well. I know they are things I will be able to use in the future.

Comment: Thank you for this beautiful package! Portland is a proper bustling city, but the closer you go to Canada, they haven’t even named the towns- they’re all just township numbers! Everything you sent was so lovely- I have been looking for these dinosaur stamps and I can’t thank you enough! I thought I would for sure have to order them online. Another trait of rural Maine- the post offices only have “flags or flowers”! Thanks again < 3 take care!

Comment: What a great postcard! I remember the eruption very well -- I was in elementary school -- a student in class had a relative who lived near there. She sent a container of ask so that we could see it. I became passionate about volcanoes after that. A positive is that, after the destruction, life returned and flourishes there. It is the natural cycle. Happy Swapping!

Comment: 5+++! Wow, there's so much good stuff about your swap that I can't capture it all in this response. First, the PC you made with the Town & Country Tri-Wheeler is AMAZING! It's too funny because my trike is blue too! As you gathered from my profile, I love bikes...as weird as it is, I wanted to get a classic trike as my 'retirement bike', even though I'm probably 20 years from retiring. It's just one of those pieces that I wanted to add to my collection. Oh, BTW, I'm going to frame your PC and hang it up in my garage/shop so I can admire it every day. Also funny...my birthday is in April too...the 24th. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to YOU, to US! I really appreciate the otter stationary too. My wife loves otters, so it was a pleasant, well-received surprise. It's too funny that our "likes" are so similar. Small world, right? If I had to pick between Phantom and Les Mis, I'd have to go with Les Mis. Javert's "Stars" song touches my heart every time I hear it. Don't get me wrong, Phantom is the closest of seconds. It was my first live performance (I was about 12 or so) and it sparked my interest in live theater. My wife, son, and I have season tickets to our local off-Broadway venue. We end up seeing about 10-12 live shows a year. Video is great (we have a subscription to the BroadwayHD streaming service), but I do prefer seeing shows live. You should look into National Theater Live...they show live productions in movie theaters. It's a great way to watch West End productions that one isn't likely to see live (all while eating popcorn!). Alma, I can't express how much of a pleasure it was to receive your swap! Not all swaps are 'extra special', but yours truly touched my heart. Thank you for brightening my day!

Comment: OMG that is a gorgeous cut n paste. I love the cows they look like Jersey cows but grey. The wreath looks so pretty and cosy. Quite hygge to me. It looks so Scandinavian. I remember visiting a small rural roadside pioneer cemetery once and turned around to see a small herd of beautiful Jersey's with their big eyes come over to see me. Such pretty lovely cows. I'm so glad you agreed to a private swap. I hope you join more of my swaps. FYI, @NRGordon (one of my favourite swappers) is running "Found Image" swaps (US and Global). I especially love the Red Hat Society one. My mom and I have been in a Group 20 years. Chapter 255 The Scarlett o' BIuebonnets. I started as a Pink hat. I just love the mini playing card with Washi. I give out a plain blue bicycle mini, i need to find some with pictures on them. A special Thank You for the linen postcard from 1945. I just love linen cards .And then was a small Hallmark square card and envie full of Tim Holtz people cut outs! I love it all! Thank you again!

Comment: Thank you for all the history about the Scablands. I googled it to learn more. Very interesting! I agree with you about some countries being so much more educated than we are here. And yeah, knowing multiple languages always impresses me. I feel kinda dumb only knowing one! Lol, I'll look up the Russian couple you mentioned. I've been trying to learn Italian, but it isn't going very well. Watching Italian movies is a good idea! Thank you for the compliments on my profile. I raised 5 kids alone, so I didn't have time or money to do a whole lot in those years. But I did manage to create some creative, interesting, fun times for my kids. We all have great memories of our "poor" years. All of us have very good jobs now, and I have 6 very awesome grandchildren. I'll soon be 65 and yes, I do like to live life to it's fullest. I'm always looking for something new to learn. Thanks for your letter, I really enjoyed it :-)
