Response: You are so welcome. I'm glad you finally received mail from me.
Response: I know several people in Ludington and others who grew up there.
Response: I'm thrilled that you like it. Thank you for all of these hearts!
Response: I'm so sorry that I forgot to enclose a note.
Response: Thank you for your kind comments. I appreciate the reminder about putting tape around the envelope edges. I think the bookmark was the only extra I had included. If anything was damaged, please let me know. I'd be happy to resend.
Response: In all of the years I've been swapping, you are the only person I seem to have disappointed. I'm. sorry. I wish you had let me know before rating me. I will resend. Happy Holidays!
Response: LOL from here too!
Response: Oh how fun! I didn't know about Groundhogs Day in Wisconsin. The mayor and I have something in common. I, too, have been bitten by a groundhog. It didn't make the news or snything. LOL I'm sure my parents were very happy that she didn't have rabies.
Response: I'm sorry my envelope was torn. Would you like me to resend?
Response: I'm glad you like what I sent. I got the plaid things at a thrift store. Wish I had more; I'd send them to you.
Response: Yes, we rarely see more than an occasional flurry here, and I'm okay with that. I do miss the hills and beautiful color in the Fall.
Response: I'm so glad it finally arrived! I was thinking of you all day and wondering if I should get another one ready to send. Maybe the first one will find its way to your mailbox eventually...we can hope!
Response: Thanks
for the well wishes. I'm doing very well. I came home the next day. I've had a bunch of surgeries on my spine and none compared with this one. I don't even need pain med. I'm sure this big brace is helping.
Response: I think this swap is from someone else. I may have sent a book mark, but not a punch and floss.Oops! Of all the things I've ever lost, I miss my mind the most. I just realized that you were describing the bookmark I sent to you. I am sorry.
Response: Yes, I made the coaster. I'm glad you like what I sent to you.
Response: I'm glad you like the ATC, etc. Ohhhh, I would love to see Heart of Africa!
Response: So glad you like it. Wish I could draw like that, but my hands are too shakey now. It's a rubber stamp that I've had for many years.
Response: You are so right...we are having fun. Had to laugh when you mentioned ornery's snort. You can tell him that I haven't been inside any of "my" stores this whole month. Why, oh, why do these stores keep coming out with new stuff and putting other stuff on clearance!!! Two more days till June. I think I will be able to say I didn't buy any art stuff this whole month.
Response: I may have spelled it wrong. I know the Dutch word for it is Pergamano. I want to say tarjeteria but am not sure of that.
Response: Wish I could tell you where I bought those scissors. I've had them for years and just found them in a drawer when I was looking for the stamp I used.
Response: I'm sorry I forgot to put a note inside. I did PM you to let you know.
Response: So glad you like...such a simple design. Yes, I did stamp the fern.
Response: I'm glad you received this one. Thank you much for changing the rating.
Response: So sorry I forgot to include my info. I am glad you like what I sent.
Response: Thank you for telling me...I hadn't noticed. I can't believe I've done that many swaps!
Response: I'm so glad you like what I sent. Yes, I did make the coaster. Happy swapping!
Response: I'm not sure if I made the card as can't remember which one I sent to you. Happy Holidays to you!
Response: I'm so glad that you like all the stuff I sent. Enjoy!
Response: Yes, I made the envelopes. So glad you like them.
Response: I'm so sorry for sending a duplicate. I think it's my favorite of all the ATCs I've ever made, so I got carried away and made a bunch of them. I will send you another ATC.
Response: Nancy...Was it an ATC with strawberries on it? If so, it's an old stamp by Rubber Stampede. I colored it with Twinkling H2Os. Would you like me to stamp some images and send to you? Marsha
Response: I assure you I've sent twice and I can't understand that both would have gone astray. I will try one more time if you will PM me with your correct address. Groundhogstamper
Response: You are so sweet to give me a heart in spite of the sticky mess. I'm so sorry. I didn't think about the honey sticks melting in this hot weather. Did it affect the tea bags at all? I'd be most happy to resend.
Response: I am saddened to see this rating since you haven't even PM'd me to ask about the swap. If you'll check the list of participants you will see that I sent this swap on Jan. 6 even though the deadline wasn't 'til Jan. 11. I have never flaked on a swap and it was out of my control after I mailed the package to you. If I'd known sooner that you hadn't received it, I would have resent sooner. I will resend and I would appreciate if you would re-rate me.
Response: Thank you for the lovely compliment. It means so much since I've worked very hard to get my handwriting back to normal after I had a stroke in 2008.
Response: I don't know what happened. Either I didn't get your mail or you didn't get mine. I'd be happy to hear from you any time.
Response: I'm glad you like what I sent. Yes, I made the envelopes. If I remember right I sent you an ATC with masking tape background? It's just torn pieces, a bit of color from ink pads, and then clear embossing powder put on top and heated.
Response: I'm so sorry I messed up. I will send you another polka dots ATC.
Response: Yes, the inches are stamped. It's a big stamp I bought at Michaels, with all these little squares...perfect for inchies. I painted them with "Twinkling H2O watercolor paints" I've bought them at rubber stamp stores, but am sure you can find them on the internet. They are very fun & easy to use.
Response: I'm so glad you like them. I stamped on vellum with white Brilliance ink, then turned it over and placed it on a rubber pad (I think a mouse pad would work) and then embossed from the back, using one of those thingies (can't remember what they're called) with ball tips that you use to dry emboss with brass stencils. The rose one was stamped on vellum and colored on the opposite side. The butterfly one was stamped onto clear adheer laminating page, using Ancient Page coal ink and let dry overnight. Then I peeled off the backing and used a metallic marker to color the butterfly on the sticky side, then adhered it to my background paper. Hope this helps. Feel free to email me if you have any other questions.
Response: Thank you for the very nice compliment. I think most people keep their ATCs in the plastic pages with 9 pocket sleeves made for sports trading cards. I put the sleeves in a 3-ring binder. Hope this helps. Making and swapping ATCs is so much fun.
